Privacy
The short version: what you write here stays in your browser on your device.
Your writing stays in your browser
The tools run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type, tick, colour or count is sent to us or to anyone else. There are no accounts and no forms that submit anywhere.
What is stored on your device
To keep your work between visits, the site saves it in your browser’s local storage on this device:
- your gratitude log entries (dates, the things you wrote and any notes),
- your habit names, sheet title, paper settings and the days you ticked,
- your year-in-pixels colours, mood labels and mood scale,
- your saved day counters (their names and dates),
- which journal prompts you have seen, your prompt set and your colour theme.
This data never leaves your device. Other browsers, devices and people using a different browser profile cannot see it. Clearing this site’s data in your browser deletes it permanently, so use the export and print buttons if you want a copy. If you share a device, anyone using the same browser profile can open these pages and see what is stored.
Page view counts
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are useful. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other sites, and never receives what you type, tick or colour in the tools.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Files you export or import
Exports (JSON, text and PNG files) are created in your browser and saved straight to your device. When you import a JSON file, it is read in your browser and never uploaded.
Links to other sites
Links to other websites, including the tools we recommend, are ordinary links. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
