About Honey Day Book
A few well-made pages for the everyday habit of writing things down.
What it is
Honey Day Book has five free tools: journal prompts with 160 original prompts in eight themes, a private gratitude log, a printable habit tracker, a year-in-pixels mood grid and a days since and until counter. They are meant for the small, regular kind of journaling: a prompt with your morning coffee, three good things before bed, a tick on the fridge chart.
How it works
Everything runs in your browser. Your gratitude entries, habits, ticks, mood colours and saved counters are kept in your browser’s local storage on your device, and nothing you write is sent to a server. That also means they are not backed up or synced: the gratitude log and the habit tracker show how to export or print a copy. Once a page has loaded it keeps working offline.
Who writes it
The journal prompts and all the help text were written for this site. The gratitude page links to the study it mentions so you can read it yourself. There are no accounts, no ads and nothing to buy.
